This litter is out of our male dog 4x Am. Field Ch/RU Ch/NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn (Pete), who is orange and white colored and is shown in the top photo above, and our female Twist'n Tequila's Shadow (Lila) , who is liver and white colored and is shown in the bottom photo above. The puppies will be registered through AKC (American Kennel Club).  We have planned this breeding with expectations of producing puppies of dual (conformational and field) quality as conformation as well as hunting instinct, style and ability is highly heritable and this breeding combines a strong lineage of the finest Brittanys produced.  We expect orange/white puppies as well as liver/white puppies from this breeding.  All puppies are priced at $950.

The sire of this litter, NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn has made Brittany history as being the only dog to hold both the National Open and National Amateur Gun-Dog Championship titles. He was also awarded the 2010 Magnum's Masked Man award for having the highest amount of gun dog field trial wins/points of any dog in the country.  Pete is dually registered with American Field/Field Dog Stud Book and has won three American Field championship titles therefore further making him a 4x American Field Champion as well.  Also, early in his career he also had several NSTRA wins to add to his belt.  NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn is one of the most talented, well rounded bird-dogs the Brittany Breed has to offer with an outstanding lineage of proven dogs.  Pete's sire is NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner who was the 1997 National Amateur All Age Champion who has sired dogs such as NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick.  Pete's dam is AFC Bullet's Renegade Miss Megan - our foundation female who is a strong hunter and qualified for the 2007 and 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog Championships. The dam of this litter, Twistin' Tequila's Shadow (Lila) is a very nice young female who we began running in adult field trial stakes at the end of the Spring 2011 trial season.  We have been very pleased with her performance and competiveness in the field and expect her to make a super nice gun dog.  Lila's sire is NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow who is the top winning hour All-Age Brittany in the history of the breed.  In 2001 he was named the National Field Champion at the All-Age National Championship.  He has 44 1-hour All-Age placements throughout his career and is an 11x American Field Champion and 10x American Field Champion Runner up.  He was also named the 2002 Iams/Royal Kanin Dog of the Year.
Lila's dam, DC/AFC Tequila with a Twist is a 2x American Brittany Club National Dual award winner, and was BOB at the 2008 ABC National Specialty show. She finished the 2008 field trial season as the #2 All Age Brittany in the country and now has a total of 17 hour placements. She is a 2x American Field Champion and 4x American Field Champion Runner-up and has also placed twice at the Brittany All-Age National Championship.  DC/AFC Tequila with a Twist was sired by Brittany Hall of Famer NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker who was the 1997 National All-Age Champion.  Hall of Famer NFC/DC/AFC Tequila's Joker was also a 8x American Field Champion, 5x American Field Champion Runner-Up, had 26 All-Age hour wins, and of course was a conformational show champion. 

These puppies will be strong, healthy, TRUE bird dogs with intense desire and style, classic conformation, highly intelligent with an eagerness to learn, great conformations, and happy, biddable temperaments that will make them easy and enjoyable to live with at home. Orange and white puppies as well as liver and white puppies will be expected. We prefer that our puppies above all are part of the family and we strive to find the right match for each puppy which includes an evaluation of the temperament, attitude and energy level as well as physical qualities to ensure the best home for each puppy.

 Puppies come with a complete health guarantee against genetic defects. All dewclaws will be removed, tails will be docked, and they will be up to date on all vaccinations and dewormer.  We feed our puppies Eukanuba Medium Breed Puppy which is a premium, top quality food suitable for optimum growth and development. The puppies will be very well socialized healthy puppies that should travel easily to their new homes.

We will ship puppies within the continental United States via Continental (summer/winter) or Delta (spring/fall) airlines for approximately 350.00 which includes airfare, appropriate veterinary certified shipping documents and health guarantee, and a shipping crate.  This amount may be more or less depending on actual cost of airfare at the time of shipment. Puppies who are being picked up from our residence may be picked up at 6 - 7 weeks of age.  Puppies who will have to fly to their new homes can not be shipped until they are a minimum of 8 weeks of age.
