Winchester Reloaded (Penny) is from a  frozen semen insemination of AFC Bullet's Renegade Miss Megan (Megan) and the late 2xNGDC/DC/AFC Winchester of Hanging Jaze (Chester). She is a half sibling of our NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn, Nancy Drew and Dick Tracy III.    The Chesterette's, as we call Penny and her sister Winchester's Last Load (Minnie) are the first puppies by 2xNGDC/DC/AFC Winchester of Hanging Jaze (Chester) since his untimely death several years ago.   

2xNGDC/DC/AFC Winchester of Hanging Jaze (Chester) had more than 100 field trial placements in addition to his twice winning the National Gun Dog Championship.  Hopefully these pups will not disappoint us as we plan for them to be a major part of our future here at Carter Brittany Kennels.  The 2010 spring field trial season was a success for these girls as they both earned their puppy and derby points.  They have remained small in stature as one would expect from daughters of Chester.  They show a keen amount of hunting instinct and hunt HARD from start to finish.   We are very excited about their potential as they have exceeded our expectations to date.

Penny unfortunately succumbed to a rattlesnake bite on 5/3/2010.  We had 3 bitten that day (Lila and KC also).  She will be missed by all especially Minnie her "Running Mate".
